Monommata maculata: lateral view; specimen from (1). Although this species is reported to have pigment spots ("maculata") at the lateral antennae, these spots are not visible in this specimen.
 

Monommata maculata: the only Monommata-species with such dentate rami (arrows) in the trophi which are a mix between virgate and forcipate. Rami also with alulae (arrowheads). (1)
